The vacuum molding was born in Japan in 1973. After its introduction in China in the 1980s, it gained widespread attention and gradually applied to the production of many products. At the same time, the process has been successfully developed in North America and Europe, and its application range has been expanded. It has been very mature in the fields of forklift counterweight, engineering machinery axle housing and bathtub. In the field of wear-resistant castings, the vacuum molding casting process has achieved great success in the use of well-known wear-resistant castings in Sweden such as Sandvik, American wear-resistant wolf, and US-Iron steel, and has gradually become the mainstream process of these enterprises.
In China, since the 1980s, there have been preliminary experiments to explore the process of producing wear-resistant castings, but there is no mature application (except railway crossings). In recent years, in the field of wear-resistant castings, v-casting is mainly based on traditional mine wear-resistant castings in the production and application of wear-resistant castings, including high manganese steel cones, tooth plates, hammers, hammers, large liners. Wait. Even some companies have succeeded in producing high-chrome roll sleeve castings for vertical grinding using the vacuum molding casting process, which has achieved good results.
