When the automated welding equipment faces a weld having a size of less than 8 mm, it is usually completed by a single layer of welding, that is, a welded layer, and the diameter of the electrode is selected according to the thickness of the weld. Steel plate. If the weld size is less than 5 mm, the robot needs to be welded by straight line and short arc welding.
In order to reduce unnecessary defects in the welding process, the automatic welding equipment has a uniform welding speed; the angle of the welding rod is 45° with the horizontal plate and 65°-80° with the welding direction. The problem of this angle must be strictly violent, otherwise the angle of the electrode will be too small, resulting in insufficient penetration of the root; if the angle is too large, the slag can easily flow from the front to the slag.
When the automatic welding equipment uses a linear moving strip method to weld small-sized welds, the edge of the electrode end sleeve should be placed against the weld and gently pressed; when the electrode melts, it will gradually follow the welding direction. This is not only easy to handle, but also has a deep penetration and an aesthetically pleasing weld appearance.
If the size of the solder fillet is 5-8 mm, it can be soldered by a slant round or anti-aliasing method, but the transport speed is different. Regarding the speed of controlling the moving rod during the welding process of the automatic welding equipment, it is necessary to grasp the speed, otherwise undercutting, slag inclusion and edge fusion may occur.
